This summer I took the leap and decided to vend at Squamish Nation Pow Wow selling bags that I made. I hand drew the lettering and images, then brought them into Illustrator/computer and made silk screens. I screen printed the fabric myself and sewed each bag. It was a learning process to do every detail of production and coordinating vending at an event. Definitely I was sitting in the dark making the silk screens and furiously sewing on my kitchen table. Inspired to do more events and production of handmade items. This is only the beginning.
